IT Manager – Job Description Job Holder: New Position Reports To: Head of Operations Job Purpose: To provide IT support and assistance to Aalat and Aalat employees Job Dimensions: Management and implementation of IT Planning & Budget Infrastructure Design, Development & Maintenance Plan Based at Abu Dhabi Head Office Sunday to Thursday, 0830 – 1730 or as required Key Result Accountabilities: Prepare, implement and monitor all aspects of the IT operating / Capex budget Evaluation and design of IT a user-friendly and efficient IT infrastructure (software & hardware) Research the market to identify appropriate IT suppliers manage the request for proposal stage and in coordination with Finance Department, finalize to contract / purchase / implementation stage Ensure all IT licenses are maintained and up-to-date Development and maintenance of IT Policies & Procedures and user guidelines Design and execute a disaster recovery plan Inform management of any current risks / Security threats / and take appropriate action to minimize exposure Provide IT training on new or unfamiliar hardware / software to users as required Conducting Internal Security Audits Maintain all voice & data connections for Users / Functions Oversee and manage all aspects related to network administration / risk / data / contacts / bulletin board / fax administration Deployment of new IT equipment for users Maintenance and log checking of Spam-firewall Ensure that all call reports, trouble shooting, etc is reported to IT Manager in a timely manner Communication & Working Relationships: 26/03/08

Internal clients are predominantly senior personnel and to a lesser extent all other employees who utilize the company IT systems and services External liaison with suppliers Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required: required qualification of relevant IT related degree Fluent in Spoken & Written English Min7 years previous experience in a similar role Experienced and competent in all aspects of system/network and data administration Fully literate in all MS Office applications Good understanding of various Management Information Systems Budget Experience 26/03/08
