The case study outlines the development of the ITIL Process Assessment Framework (IPAF) by Co-operative Financial Services to establish a cost-effective and modular approach for conducting ITIL process assessments. This framework aims to enhance in-house competency for continual service improvement (CSI) by enabling organizations to assess their ITIL process maturity while leveraging internal skills. The IPAF methodology has been successfully applied within CFS and provides a comprehensive guide for organizations to conduct their assessments, resulting in improved staff satisfaction, acceptance of findings, and overall ITSM capability.
