Sample: Handling of a Configuration Alert via Guided Procedure 
This example shows a configuration alert on the parameter log_mode. Correct setting of this parameter is vital for ensuring 
recoverability of the database.

Handling of Configuration Alerts 
Both Configuration alerts can be handled along a Guided Procedure available in SAP Solution Manager (as of SAP Solution 
Manager 7.1 SP8). 
While changing the Parameter Mergedog to its recommended Value is simple and can be performed with standard procedure for 
parameter changes, the change of log_mode parameter requires some additional steps, e.g. performing an initial backup.

While changing the Parameter Mergedog to its recommended Value is simple and can be performed with standard procedure for parameter changes, the change of log_mode parameter requires some additional steps, e.g. performing an initial backup.
