- 1. 1 Standard Information Job Title * Principal Front-End Location (i) Oslo and Stavanger Engineer Vacancy Ref No J000234 2 Job Specification – main duties & responsibilities The company are currently looking for a Principal Front-End Engineer to work within our Engineering Department based in Stavanger and Oslo. You will provide support to the project opportunities through feasibility, concept selection and concept definition phases. Duties Include: • Project, organisation and teams • Responsible for subsea/pipeline conceptual design and selection for the project • Prepare subsea and pipeline input to Basis for Design document • Prepare functional specifications for subsea system • Prepare technical input to tender documents • Take part in technical meetings and project meeting as required • Take part in design reviews, Value Adding workshops, HAZIDs/HAZOPs and other project related activities as required Candidates must possess: • Proven experience, with broad knowledge of interfacing disciplines, preferably gained from working within an operating company. • Good knowledge of diverless subsea facilities and flowlines, as well tie-back to existing production facilities. • The candidates should have experience in all areas of the subsea infrastructure, incl. wellheads, trees, controls, umbilicals and pipelines at a conceptual level. • The candidates should be able to produce functional definitions and specifications. 3 Person Specification Educational Attainments Essential (eg: HNC, degree etc) • Degree 4 Contacts Recruitment Department
