JavaScript Developer – 3 month rolling contract Required skills Javascript ninja, including understanding front end MVC structures, design patterns, and proven experience with modern browser toolsets (e.g. AngularJS, RequireJS, Twitter Bootstrap). Excellent HTML5, with clean and semantic markup. Excellent CSS3 skills, with extensions and tooling (e.g. LESS, SASS, Compass). TDD with unit testing and functional testing (e.g. PhantomJS, CasperJS, Geb, Spock) . Responsive design solutions and experience with touch devices. Experience of agile and SCRUM, with experience of pair programming a bonus. Experience with application management and build tools (e.g. Grunt, Bower, Yeoman, Heroku). Working knowledge of production issues - load handing, optimisation, caching, CDNs, physical architecture, cloud hosting, etc. Good knowledge of Git workflows - branching patterns and deployment techniques. Ideally, an active GitHub user. Knowledge of Java, groovy, and grails is desirable. Excellent grasp of accessibility and usability concepts.
