Having 2 years working experience in UAE as an Assistant Engineer. Interacting with clients for any further queries and attending client meetings. Acting as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, crafts people and operatives Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations; Ensuring that all materials used and work performed are as per specifications; Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials and plant; Agreeing a price for materials and making cost-effective solutions and proposals for the intended project; Managing, monitoring and interpreting the contract design documents supplied by the client or architect; By using PRIMAVERA (P6), structuring the Work Breakdown Structures(WBS) identification, Activities identification & applying relationships between activities. Prepare and update necessary weekly and monthly reports for consultants/ Client. Liaising with any consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project; Liaising with the local authority (where appropriate to the project) to ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by-laws; Updating and monitoring progress on weekly basis of running projects and co- coordinating with project manager. Review and prepare Requests for Information (RFI) for Site hindrance facing.
- 2. Ensuring all project documents to be sent are submitted to client/consultant, and following up the approval of the same. Closely monitoring the document submittal and approval; ensuring the closure of all documents. Raising inspection request for the site inspection. Sorting out variations in projects and preparing variations by co-ordinating with Project Manager. Responsible for preparing payment applications (Billing) of various projects. Prepare the list of shop drawings/material submittals and submit to the Sr. Planning Engineer. Take part in Management review meetings. Assure quality of work and solve technical aspects at site. Analyzing tender documents with keen knowledge of Specifications and Drawings. Detailed quantity take off, raising Clarification requests/Technical queries regarding tender if required. Floating enquiries to Subcontractors for quotations. PROJECTS INVOLVED Construction of Restaurant and Toilet Blocks for Global Village at Dubai. Construction of Main Entrance Gate and Retail areas for Global Village at Dubai. Construction of Gym and its related facilities At Jebel Ali, Engineer’s Office – Client.
