- 3. Addressing the eLearning Challenge To produce e-content improving the way students learn and teachers teach is harder than expected: it requires a combination of expertise and competences. For mathematics , professional mathematicians, software engineers, publishers, learning theorists, should be enabled to productively talk to each other.

Criteria for Adding New Members New partners to join JEM must have demonstrated excellence in developing and/or using one or more of the following: eContent in education in sciences relevant technology for e-Learning theoretical background empowering new and innovative ways to use technology in education. Preference will be given to organizations from countries not yet represented within the network.
