Social entrepreneurship attempts to use business techniques to solve social problems while generating a positive return for society through broad social, cultural, and environmental goals. Jeffrey Hollender is a social entrepreneur and founder of Sustain Natural and the American Sustainable Business Council who has written six books on social and corporate responsibility. Scott Harrison founded the non-profit charity: water after a spiritual awakening led him to help provide clean drinking water worldwide, benefiting over a million people in 17 countries.
