Judaism Presentation Judaism has no single leader or group making theological decisions. They have a diverse tradition associated with the Jewish peoples. The Jewish are an nomadic group of people who have been repeatedly dispersed and oppressed.
Relationship with God/ Torah The Jewish are those who experience their long and often difficult history as a continuing dialogue with God through Torah, which is the way they refer to those who answer the call of God and Who acknowledge and strive to obey the one God. Torah also will refer to as the Five Books of Moses.
Torah can also mean the entire Hebrew Bible and the Talmud, the written and oral law at the highest level. Torah is God's will, God's wisdom.
The Holocaust The Holocaust to many Jewish people were the murders of almost six million European Jews by the Nazi leadership of Germany during World War 11.
The Holocaust is also the overwhelming tragic event of Jewish history, and an indelible marker for all time of the depths of the twentieth- century in humanity and evil.
Sacred Practices and Holidays A major Jewish spiritual has been scriptual study. Jewish are urged to remember God in all aspects of life through prayer and the observance of the commandants.
The Jewish Sabbath, The HIGH Holy Days of Riosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur are just a few of the hollidays that the Jewish people celebrate.
Different Sects of Judaism There were three different sects meantioned in the text
The Saducees( priests and wealthy buisness people, conservatives intent on preserving the letter of the law
The Pharises were more liberial citizens from all classes who sought the applications of Torah to everyday life.
The Essenes emphasized discipline, communal living, obedience, study, and spiritual preparation for the day of Judgement.
Jerusalem Jerusalem is the place where a great Temple was built under the reign of Kind Solomon ( son of David). It was a permanent home for the Ark of the Covenant, which was housed in the innermost sanctum, and a place for making the burned offerings of animals, grain, and oil to the divine. Jerusalem was a central stationary place where God could be most present to them.

You shall not commit murder. You shall not commit adultery.
You shall not steal.
You should not give false evidence against your neighbor.
You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not convet your neighbor's wife, his slave,his slave girl, his ox, or anything that belongs to him.

You shall not make a carved image for yourself nor the likeness of anything in the heavens above, or on earth, below or in waters, or under the earth.
