NDT methods obtained: Description Accreditation / Certification AINDT Magnetic Particle Inspection, Level 2 AS3998/ISO 9712 AINDT Dye Penetrant Inspection, Level 2 AS3998/ISO 9712 ASNT Ultrasonic Testing, Level 1 (Thickness) Certificate III in Engineering – Technical MEM30505 Experience Experience with NDT inspection methods Magnetic particle testing – experience using both contrast and fluorescent MPI testing pipe welds (workshop & field welds), Internal and external inspections of vessels, exchangers and tanks and valve, pump and compressor parts. Penetrant testing– experience using both red dye and fluorescent dye on stainless steel weld, compressor, pump and valve parts and on thermo wells. Radiography – experience with gamma and x-rays using contact, ellipse, panoramic and profile radiography techniques. Ultrasonic Testing - experience with ultrasonic thickness testing on on-going thickness surveys of the refinery. Experience with assisting with UT2 testing, phased array, iris tube inspection and tank floor inspection. Experience with installing permesense permanent probes. Visual Inspection – experience with on-going visual inspection of the refinery and corrosion under insulation (CUI) survey. Experience understanding and following field drawings and isometrics. ALS NDT Technician June 2012 – Current Base site - BP Bulwer Island – General NDT inspection (Penetrant, Magnetic Particle, UT thickness) and radiography assistant work. Experience in inspection of tank, exchangers, boilers, vessels & workshop and field pipe welding. Experience with Radiography, using gamma & x-ray, using contact, ellipse and profile radiography techniques. BP Bulwer Island 2013 Shutdown - Inspection using Magnetic particle, penetrant & UT thickness during the 2013 turnaround on pipe welding and vessels. Callide Power Station 2014 Shutdown – work on turbines, fin fans and general valve and pipe inspections using penetrant, magnetic particle and UT thickness testing.
