Summary
 My role involves more than just Program Management. It is more like a go to person for defining process
and strategy that will lead to successful delivery for the entire Search team. More like a COO for the Search
team. The role involves (but is not limited to)
 Partner with and communicate to executives (CEO, CTO, VPs and GMs) across all BUs (GeC,
SAMs, GHS, ASDA etc.) and teams (Platform, Network and DCs etc.) for product vision,
strategic plans, and roadmaps. Regularly work with stake holders to develop and prioritize a new
product pipeline and ensure delivery.
 Quarterly and Yearly road map planning and delivery. Highly experienced in leading the product
and strategic planning process to define and communicate product vision and roadmaps.
 Quarterly and Annual Budget planning and management of that plan to ensure the delivery within
budget goals. This requires the coordination with Finance team and others stakeholders regarding
headcount and HW.
 End to end Program and Portfolio Management for strategic and complex programs for across the
entire stack (including Search pipeline, Desktop, Mobile, Hybrid Cloud and Network) involving
various internal (in-house and offshore) and external teams. Taking ownership of all program
initiatives and their delivery. Setting the right expectations and meeting them. Risk mitigation,
escalation and response.
 Led process and practice standardization in alignment with company and industry wide practices.
Defined an efficient, smooth and scalable process framework. Successfully facilitated the adoption
by the entire team by training and coaching. Started Program Management practices in a startup
and Search team at WalmartLabs.
 Facilitate architectural design discussions.
 Primary interface for Search team to the customer, third parties and other internal and external
global teams. Act as the coordinator for hiring within the entire Search Team.
 Presentations, demos and communication to all the CEOs and the Exec team of different BUs.
 Implementation of strategies to attract and maintain a highly skilled and engaged workforce
 Scrum and Agile Coach and Mentor.
 Built a team of highly recognized Technical Project Managers.

WalmartLabs 2013 – present
Working with the Search Team at WalmartLabs as a Principal Program Manager. Helped launched a new and
better redesign of the site. This required working with over 10 internal and external teams. Worked as an interface
with Search team and all the cross functional teams including Product, Business, Network and HW procurement
teams etc. Helped with resource planning, requirements gathering, coordination, resolve blockers and risk
mitigation, and delivery of required goals. Worked with other markets (e.g: Sams club) to launch “Search as a
service” for their platforms. Responsible for the entire stack from FE, Relevance and Machine Learning, Analytics,
BE Systems & Performance and Operations and Monitoring.
Shutterfly, Inc. 2013 – 2013
Very effective in jumping onto new initiatives and leading them to a successful completions. Working closely with
in-house and off-shore (Israel) teams. Helping the new offshore team to adapt to the Shutterfly Processes. Programs
involve cross functional involvement across the company and affects various teams. Agile SDLC coaching and
implementation.
ADP / Dealix Corporation, 2007 – 2013
Dealix Corporation was acquired by ADP (Dealer Services Division). Dealix Corporation is the market expert and
leader in automotive internet marketing services. They provide automobile dealerships, large dealer groups, and
automotive manufacturers with the most efficient, cost-effective way to acquire new customers. You may check it @

Closely worked with 6 cross functional teams (both in house and off-shore) as a Sr. Program Manager at
Dealix.com for over 6 years. Successfully implemented SOX and Agile process through training that I conducted for
the teams. Helped them through continuous engagement and mentoring to become self-governing teams. Launched
the main website and mobile version of the site for the company. This included initiatives for the user experience,
web-analytics, front end and back end of the site along with the feature driven implementation. Also led critical
programs for re-write of the scrub engine / platform related programs and other partner integration projects.
Helped the integration of the Division’s IT resources with ADP after the acquisition. Improved on-time delivery to
95% of time from 58%.

After graduating from Stanford worked in the Product Development division at Yahoo! Inc. Was responsible for
developing software for scheduling ad placement on various Yahoo! pages.

project -- CHAIMS (Compiling High-level Access Interfaces for Multi-site Software) http://www-

Acquired strong technical skills (including DB Management, C++, Internet Technology) not just by learning during
course work for MS(CS) but by using hands on training and implementation while developing CHAIMS prototype
which was later leveraged fully by the Research team including Phd. and Post doctorate associates who worked with

Blue Star Ltd. is the leading manufacturer of commercial refrigeration and climate control equipment in India.
Worked as a Project Manager in the corporate sales and marketing divisions overseeing the entire country.
Responsibilities included sourcing decisions and managing the supply chain and providing project management
support to Sales teams across all regions. Reported to the Vice President and participated in the process of setting
and quarterly revision of goals, budget planning and time management.
