- 3. KMW1031KT-DUAL Note to the Warfighter Basic instructions on how to connect all the cables and accessories on the KMW1031KT-DUAL RF Booster Amplifier. Configuration will be different on tactical vests and what is individually desired.
- 4. Step 1 Slide the KMW1031 into the TVP1031 pouch with the single DC connector on the bottom and the two RF connectors on top. TVP1031 (7-57-001-004)
- 5. Step 2 Connect the battery cable BC1031 to the DC connector BC 1031 (4-68-538-101) Align with DC connector on the bottom and twist to connect Connects with XX90 military style batteries
- 6. Step 3 Assemble the RAMHEAD SATCOM Antenna Comes in 3-pieces RH-2535 (7-27-317-001)
- 7. Step 4 Screw in both antenna blades It will not matter which side the blade antenna goes into. RH-2535 (7-27-317-001)
- 8. Step 5 Attach RAMHEAD antenna to the SATCOM cable and SATCOM/LOS Switch. SATCOM port is on the “left” side of the switch. RH-2535 (7-27-317-001) RFS-117 (7-16-221-001) SATCOM Cable (4-68-602-036)
- 9. Step 6 Assembling the LOS Blade Antenna LOS Antenna to Switch Cable (4-68-603-036) ANT1031 (7-27-244-002) TAH1031 (7-57-002-001)
- 10. Step 7 Connect antenna to the cable and then slide the open end through the antenna pouch.
- 11. Step 8 Thread through until the bottom of the antenna is snug within the pouch. Secure the Velcro strap on the neck of the antenna.
- 12. Step 9 Connect the LOS antenna and cable to the “top” of the SATCOM/LOS switch.
- 13. Step 10 Connect the “L” connector into the “OUT” port on the KMW1031. AC1031 (4-68-562-002)
- 14. Step 11 Connect the antenna cable to the “bottom” of the SATCOM/LOS switch.
- 15. Step 12 Fasten the SATCOM/LOS Switch Holder with the Velcro straps from the “top” and “bottom” of the unit SSH1031 (7-57-001-005)
- 16. Step 13 Connect the radio cable Most hand held radios are compatible with the KMW1031 Kit. Please contact AR Modular RF for more information. Hand Held Radio (Thales MBITR is not included with kit) RC1031 (4-68-396-001)
- 17. Step 14 Connect the radio to the “IN” port on the KMW1031 (Thales MBITR is not included with kit)
- 18. CONGRATULATIONS! You’re done! Please consult the KMW1031KT-DUAL Operator’s Manual on how to use the RF Amplifier properly. Enjoy the enhanced communications!
