Design, document and build databases to support application development / CRM application across the United Kingdom and Europe. Production of stored procedures, triggers and scheduled jobs for back-end functionality. Databases used were Access and Oracle 8i. Accessed server via putty terminal services. Made redundant when I.T. Recession hit in 2001 Aug 1999 - Aug 2000 Database Consultant / Web Developer, Nykris Digital Design / Interactive1 As part of the development team, developed the OLTP database for web database application www.pharma-transfer.com, a pharmaceutical abstract publishing website. I monitored the performance of the SQL Server using the SQL Server Profiler and the Performance Monitor. Used DTS (Data Transformation Services) to upload data from the tables on the production-staging server to the live server.
