BATMAN THE UNSUNG HERO
1
BATMAN 1939-1965
BILL FINGER- BOB KANE
▸ Batman was created by Bill Finger
and Bob Kane. These to men
develop a character of passion and
relentless a character that everyday
people would like to build their
moral compass upon, Bill Finger
helped create and define this super
hero name Batman maybe one the
world famous fictional character of
all time. Together these men create
a world of heroism.
BATMAN CHARACTERISTICS
BATMAN, BATMAN BEGINS AND BATMAN VS SUPERMAN
▸ Bill Finger and Bob Kane used their personal attributes to
create Batman persona.
▸ Goodness
▸ Kindness
▸ compassion
▸ sensitivity
▸ Generosity
▸ intelligence
▸ Integrity
▸ Courage
▸ These characteristics are definitely the emotion of a
selfless person who believe in dedicating themselves too
the services of others in need.
BATMAN BEGINS
THE DARK KNIGHT
The Dark Knight is very different character
from his counter parts over the years. The
Dark Knight has more of self entitlement
to his billionaire lifestyle with his power,
The Dark Knight is willing extend his
power to help others financially during
the day and continue his heroism at night.
His integrity to be the best rubs off on
reader's and fans, Bruce Wayne is a
billionaire and put everything on the line
for others demonstrate power and money
is nothing if you not willing to help others
in the time of need.

BATMAN BEGINS THE DARK KNIGHT ERA
▸ According to Zehr, E.P (2014). Batman represents a globally recognized icon
who represents the ultimate response to exercise and training. The physiology
that underlies Batman's abilities can then be discussed and explored using
real scientific examples that highlight truths and fallacies contained in the
presentation of pop-culture icons. Critically, it is not important whether the
popular representation of the icon shows correct science because the real
science can be revealed in discussing the character through this lens. Scientists
and educators can then use these icons as foils for exploring complex ideas in
a context that is less threatening and more comfortable for the target audience.
A "middle-ground hypothesis" for science communication is proposed in which
pop-culture icons are used to exploring scientific concepts in a bridging mental
landscape that is comfortable and familiar. This approach is encouraged for
communication with all nonscientists regardless of age.

BATMAN VS SUPERMAN
BATMAN VS SUPERMAN
▸ Bruce Wayne have the courage to stand against the world
strongest super hero to protect the world from his wraith
and devastation. Batman VS Superman is David versus
Goliath despite his gadgets Batman is fuel with
compassion and generosity which, to me can drive the
weakest person to the stardom of greatness if you believe
in your abilities. If I had to compare Batman with a
religious figure it will be Saint Micheal the guardian of man
kind.

BATMAN BEGINS DARK KNIGHT ERA
WITH GREAT POWER COMES RESPONSIBILITY
▸ According to Thompson. T (2012 ). The Dark Knight was
brought to life during dark times; the Great Depression.
Inspired by the success of the new Superman comic book,
artist Bob Kane and writer Bill Finger set out to create a similar
costumed crimefighter, only instead of an alien with
superhuman powers, they wanted to create an otherwise
normal man who used only his wits and gadgets to battle
crime. Detective Comics #27 introduced the character, a
millionaire playboy who lived a life of glamour during day and
battled evil crime lords at night. The early comics were made
for chil- dren, and it's not difficult to see why this fantasy would
appeal to most adolescents, but as time passed, the character
grew. Batman passed from Kane and Finger's hands into the
laps of other comic writers, expanding as each author brought
their own vision to the table. Of course, not all these visions
were similar, but in a way, the Batman stories seemed to reflect
the issues of the decade. The 30s-40s had the bmtal, pulp-style
crimefighter who wasn't afraid to get his hands dirty. The 60s
had the stylistic, carefi-ee Adam West Batman. The 70s brought
us another darker,

BATMAN DARK KNIGHT
RELENTLESS COURAGE
▸ According to Marche, S. (2012) More than a
million and a half American men and women
served in the Iraq War, and if you believe the
press and the politicians, every last one of them is
a hero. It is an election year, too, when the
sanctifying iconography that has encrusted the
figure of the soldier will rise again to the
foreground of public life in a series of political set
pieces both Democratic and Republican [fig. 1].
What the soldiers won't say at these events is
what deep inside they know about themselves:
They aren't heroes at all. To be a hero is to do the
heroic, to reach above the call of duty. The men
and women returning this year are just less selfish
and privileged than everybody else. They have
done their job. In a previous era we would call
them something else -- normal Americans [fig. 2].
