L'Ampolla is a coastal town in southern Catalonia located on the Ebro River delta. It was formed as a municipality in 1989 after separating from Perello. Some key sights in L'Ampolla include its beaches, cliffs, lighthouses, and the Bassa de les Olles freshwater lake. The town has a mix of small houses and larger apartment buildings located near the sea. While L'Ampolla lacks a mall, cinema, hospital, or skate park, residents and visitors can enjoy the beaches and celebrations in the summer months, including the festivals of Sant Joan and Verge de la Carme.
