Past participle (Adj –ed) • I was interested in the movie. Passive meaning( s.o/ sth receives an action or feelings of a person)

Or: It was not until 2002 that she knew how to ride a bike. It is/was not until + time + that + clause - He didn’t visit Ha Long Bay until 2005 It was not until 2005 that he visited Ha Long Bay.

Or: It was not until she was 7 that she knew how to ride a bike. It is/was not until + clause + that +clause - He didn’t visit Ha Long Bay until he got married. It was not until he got married that he visited Ha Long Bay.

- 17. Article: A/An or The • ‘The’ can go in front of any noun while a/an: only singular noun. Ex: a houses: wrong • a/an cannot be used with uncountable noun. Ex: a rice: wrong • ‘a”: used in front of words starting with consonant sound. “An” is used in front of a noun beginning with vowel sound. Ex: an apple, an orange, an engineer… Note: an hour, a union,..
- 18. A/ An – indefinite article • They’re used to mention about something that you don’t know in particular or it isn’t important. Ex: I read a book yesterday. (which book is not important) • Things in general. Ex: A banana is yellow. • To introduce a noun that has not mentioned before Ex: I saw a snake.

The – definite article • When you talk about something you actually know about Ex: The man who stands next to the shop is my father. • When there is only one thing or names of oceans, rivers,… Ex: the best, the sun, the Pacific Ocean, the Mississppi river ,… • Before names of musical instruments Ex: play the piano • Before decades, centeries Ex: the 1800s, the twentieth century
