ÖLFLEX EB cables are PVC control cables with a blue outer sheath intended for occasional flexible use and fixed installation in intrinsically safe circuits in dry, damp or wet areas. The cables are suitable for occasional, non-automated movements with a maximum tensile load of 15 N/mm2. They meet the requirements for intrinsically safe circuits where a special cable marking for hazard area type "i" is specified according to standard DIN EN 60079-14. The cable has a design based on standard DIN EN 50525-2-51 including copper conductors, PVC insulation and sheath, and is flame retardant according to IEC 60332-1-2.
