How do you feel about beginning a qualification scheme?   “… for me it is a great thing because I  did not thought having actually a chance at this age. And a qualification that I could not finance myself …” “… ohh actually ok. I think it is good, one should have a certificate…” “…  I am a bit afraid since I have not done this for a while …” “ ..ohh this is really difficult…”

How to go about learning? AQUA supports self-directed  learning groups  Participants can: share their experience and  get over obstacles learn from each other support each other. Counsellor and trainer support their learning: Pedagogical tips, how to go about learning, how to memorise, how to structure learning content
The learning process … Understanding of ones own learning habitus Knowledge on methods that increase performance Time management  Connection between theory and practice Knowledge of production processes in the company High commitment of participants  Reward through colleagues and manager Appreciation of the work done by colleagues Training of learning competencies in the workshops

Support for the Line Manager How can line manger support the learning of middle-aged women (What forms of learning are more suitable?)  How can line manager deal with problems that occur in the process of learning (dealing with time pressures, teamwork)?  How can the training contribute to increase the commitment towards the team and the objectives of the company?  What chances and risks do occur for the line manager while the women are trained?
