LEARNING
OUTCOMES
DAY 1
The students will be able to:
A. Analyze and identify the symbolisms used in the story;
B. Establish a good repertoire by means of teamwork or
working with others; and
C. Produce a video presentation showing the group's
argumentative comments/speech about the video/story,
“We Filipinos Are Mild Drinkers.
DAY 2
The students will be able to:
A. Find the figurative language in the story.
B. Present their videos using television in the class with
regards to the big picture they can reflect in the story; and
C. Tracking the symbols and imagery of the story.
DAY 3
The students will be able to:
A. Identify and list the unfamiliar words from the story
and find its meaning;
B. Construct an argumentative essay about the
story/video that they watched; and
C. Create a video commentary to give insights and opinion
about the story.
DAY 4
The students will be able to:
A. Have an academic conversation" about the video;
B. Evaluate or grade their own groupmates using rubric;
and
C. Deliver an argumentative speech about the story.
DAY 5
The students will be able to:
A. Identify the purpose of the author;
B. Make a list of the biases and prejudices in the material
they have seen; and
C. Recall previous experiences to connect with the story.
