This document outlines a software course on using SAP 2000, a structural analysis and design program. The course will cover topics like grid systems, frame creation, beam and building design under loads, shear walls, prestressed concrete, and bridges over two weeks. Students will be assessed through attendance, a mid-quiz, assignment presentation, and a final quiz. SAP 2000 can perform linear and nonlinear static and dynamic analysis of 3D structures and is suitable for all structural engineering projects from simple to complex. Other similar programs include ETABS and Staad-Pro.
