Henry Ford began experimenting with engines in the late 1800s and completed his first vehicle, the Quadricycle, in 1896. He went on to establish the Ford Motor Company in 1903. By implementing assembly line production techniques around 1910, Ford was able to greatly reduce production time and costs of the Model T, making cars affordable for the masses.
