I. Intended Learning Outcomes
Through varied learning activities, the grade 9 students with at least 80 %
of accuracy will :
1. Classify quadrilaterals that are parallelogram;
2. Draw the different types pf quadrilaterals; and
3. Relate quadrilaterals to real lie situation.

Projector, chalkboard, strips of papers, markers, lapel
III. Learning Experiences
A. Activity
The student will play the game entitled “Four Pics ! One Word!” in
which the teacher will show to them four pictures each slide and the students
will guess the word that shows common to the four different pictures.
B. Analysis
Questions:
1. How did you find the activity?
2. What will you describe the illustrations above?
3. Do you see parts that show quadrilaterals?
4. What are the different group or sets of quadrilaterals?

The teacher will group the students according to their thinking level.
IV. Evaluation
Identify if the statement is true or false. Write “T” is the statement is true and
“False” if the statement is false.
___1. A rectangle is a parallelogram.
___2. Trapezium has no sides equal.
___3. A square is a parallelogram.
___4. A square is a quadrilateral
___5. A trapezoid is a quadrilateral
___6. A rhombus has no parallel sides.
___7. A parallelogram has opposite congruent sides.
___8. A square has four right angles.
___9. A trapezoid is quadrilateral.
___10. A rhombus has one pair of acute angles and obtuse angles.
V. Assignment
The students group themselves into five members and will take pictures of
real life examples of quadrilaterals outside the classroom and make it a power
point present point presentation.
