Semantic web technologies are making new horizons for the web users. Semantic web data is a part of web data over World Wide Web which is able to process independently of application, domain or any platform. Data stored on webs in the form of documents that cannot be readable or understandable by the computers. User want to search something over the internet, search engine will display all the content whether relevant or irrelevant for user. User have to find again relevant data whereas, in semantic technologies computer reads the word or phrase searched a user using search engine and produce the specific relevant result by the means of artificial intelligence techniques. For permanent data storage  M-Disc  technology will be launched in the market soon for commercial purposes. It is a scratch proof disc and can store data for more than 1,000 years into a stone-like metals and metalloids. Normal CDs and DVDs face loss of data in humidity and in high temperature whereas M-Disc is capable to prevent loss of data in such conditions. M-Disc current available storage capacity is 4.78 GB DVD. It cannot be burn in normal writers, 5X stronger laser burners are required to burn M-Disc. Also called  ubiquitous computing , pervasive computing is the result of computer  technology advancing at exponential speeds -- a trend toward all man-made and some natural products having  hardware  and  software . Pervasive computing goes beyond the realm of personal  computers : it is the idea that almost any device, from clothing to tools to appliances to cars to homes to the human body to your coffee mug, can be imbedded with  chips  to connect the device to an infinite network of other devices. The goal of pervasive computing, which combines current network technologies with wireless computing,  voice recognition ,  Internet  capability and  artificial intelligence , is to create an environment where the connectivity of devices is embedded in such a way that the connectivity is unobtrusive and always available. Three years ago, the smartphone “boom” was still an uncertain possibility. Today, we are surrounded by a society of smart phone addicts who live as if their lives cannot continue without instant, mobile access to the web, e-mail, and apps for every occasion. Mobile devices have come a long way in just three short years, and now support a wide range of useful features beyond making phone calls. • #8: Web GL extends the capability of the  JavaScript  programming language to allow it to generate interactive  3D graphics within any compatible  web browser . WebGL code executes on a computer display card's  Graphics Processing Unit  (GPU), which must support  shader  rendering. WebGL is a context of the  canvas  HTML element that provides a 3D computer graphics  API  without the use of  plug-ins . [2]  The specification was released as version 1.0 on March 3, 2011. [1]  WebGL is managed by the  non-profit   Khronos Group .

• #13: I googled the term podcasting the other day and found 24 million hits. It’s become a very popular term, but I don’t know how many people know what it really is. So let’s begin with a general description or definition of what podcasting is. The difference between an audio file and a podcast – is the “cast” part – what really makes it a podcast is the ability to broadcast a series of audio files (or video files (called vodcasts) to wide audience. These terms are from wikipedia and O’Reilly Technology
• #14: A basic podcast contains only audio and is the easiest to create and listen to. Other types of podcast: An enhanced podcast has both audio and slides (like a narrated PowerPoint presentation on the Web). A vodcast (or video podcast) contains video and audio and is the most difficult to create and view. Let’s look at iTunes to bring down the anatomy of a podcast. You can think of a podcast like a CD. The author can put out multiple CD’s, the author(s) can have multiple podcasts. The podcast has title or “Album” name. The podcast description is an overall paragraph of what the podcast is about. Then you can have the Category, if your podcast falls in a specific category, like education or educational technology (more specific). The episodes in a podcast are kind of like the tracks on the CD. Now each episode (the episode is the recorded mp3 file that you add to the podcast) has a name, the artist or author and “albulm” name or podcast that it belongs to is going to stay the same. Each episode also has it’s own description.

After these initial steps, the user will only need to create additional episodes (an mp3 file) and upload it the proper location and depending on the method used to create the podcast, they may have to make some additonal changes to their webpage or xml file for the new episode.

Odeo – netvibes – these are web-based podcatcher solutions – listen and manage your podcast anywhere where there’s internet connection/ netvibes can also manage text feeds – myPodder – web-based – allow you to download podcast episodes to an mp3 player
