There are many system in library automation packages available as open source s/w through they provide advanced module like acquisition cataloguing circulation OPAC etc. here we can see Kohl and Newgenlib are they two library automation s/w. Many activities of a library are routine in nature: few are repetitive automation of these activities help in managing.
