Dear Colleagues, The ICM 2017 Organizing Committee invites you to submit your contributions to the biannual IEEE International Conference on Mechatronics (http://www.IEEE-ICM2017.org/), to be held in Gippsland, Australia, during February 14 - 17, 2017. In addition to the intellectually stimulating technical program, there will be social and cultural program every evening throughout the conference period. The 2017 IEEE International Conference on Mechatronics (ICM 2017) offers a unique and interesting platform for scientists, engineers and practitioners throughout the world to present and share their most recent research and innovative ideas in the areas of: Robotics, Mobile Platforms, Unmanned Vehicles Mechatronics applications in agriculture and regional industries. - 2. Mechatronics Applications in Cyber-physical Systems Mechatronics in Tertiary Education Important Dates: 1. Submission of Special Session Proposals: 1 June 2016 2. Deadline for submission of full paper: 15 July 2016 3. Notification of acceptance with electronic publication instruction: 15 October 2016 4. Deadline for final manuscript: 1 December 2016 Contributed Papers: Prospective authors are invited to submit the full version of their manuscripts as a pdf format. A maximum of 6 pages in the standard ICM format is allowed for each paper, including figures, tables and references. Detailed instructions for paper submission are available on the conference website. Special Sessions: The conference will feature Special Sessions on new topics and innovative applications. These sessions will consist of 5-6 articles and undergo a regular review process by the session organizer(s). Prospective organizers should refer to the instruction on submitting a proposal for a special session in the conference website (http://ieee-icm2017.org/sessions.php) which include the proposal template. Good quality papers would be considered for publication in IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics or IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics (depends on the scope), subject to satisfactory further reviews.
