- 1. SPECIAL APPLICATION PRODUCTS Load Extenders Loader Extenders are specially designed to extend the forward reach of the lift truck. Typically used in loading and unloading transport trailers or railcars. The extended reach allows the operator to work from one side which reduces working time and increases safety. Various reach stroke, capacities and mounting options are available to suit any application. These units are single function and are activated by two cylinders. A variety of attachments can be fitted on the extender front carriage ranging from standard forks to roll clamps. As with all custom designed units, detailed application information is required to determine the features for each attachment. 1. Truck mounting class? ITA Hook or pin style? 2.
