- 8. LUBRICATION MANAGEMENT Avoiding Contamination Good storage and handling practices - Use fork lifts for drum movement OR - Use hoist/jaws OR - Unload product through sliding - Use wooden dunnage on floor while rolling drums.
- 9. LUBRICATION MANAGEMENT To Avoid Contamination Use Separate dispensing equipment for each grade - Use of grease guns - Use of hand pumps - Colour coding of pipeline and dispensing equipment in large installations - Avoid residue in drums by proper dispensing.

- 11. LUBRICATION MANAGEMENT Avoiding Contamination Proper Maintenance of dispensing equipment - Dispensing equipment should deliver required quantity with proper quality. - Dispenser should not be taken for granted for smooth operation. - Periodic calibration of each equipment wherever applicable

- 13. LUBRICATION MANAGEMENT Reduction of loss - Stop all oil leaks - Leakage most common enemy of proper lubrication management - One drop per second can cause wastage of 2 KL per annum - Exercise regular surveillance to identify leaks - Rectify leaks by replacing seals etc.
