Impacts on economy can be negative and positive so that
leadership focuses on leadership strategies to control

of cancers.
Technology

purely based on biology; uses technologies
to process cells and biological .
2 Currently using human stem cells to
test new drugs; This can help guarantee
to generate cells and tissues that can
be used for cell based therapy.
3 Treat diseases like spinal cord injuries,
burns, heart diseases, diabetes,
osteoarthritis, macular degeneration,
and rheumatoid arthritis.
What we found? Macro-trend 4: Technology
- Biotechnology and Non-Biotechnology
Biotechnology: reducing
rates of infectious
diseases.
Top trend in biotechnology are
stem cell therapies and
personalized medicines.
1 Federal Law: HIPPA (Healthcare Insurance
Portability and Accountability Act; OSHA
(Occupational Safety and Health Administration Act)
2 State Law: OSHA; MOSH (Maryland…);
3 Workplace Medical Surveillance –

  • #8: This helps to avoid uncertainty of the future growth. Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and Gross National Product (GNP) roles is very important as it helps avoid certain health related issues. Its job is to control and manage acute and chronic health problems. Looking to the picture of the right, it highlights the spending of healthcare per capita by age; the older the individual, the higher the cost will be. https://www.census.gov/quickfacts/table/PST045215/00
  • #9: Regarding demographic difference of gender and change such as aging, birth and death rate, views of health system experts are very important to satisfy demands initiated by health problems (Khorasani, Keyvanara, Karimi, & Jazi, (2014).
  • #10: According to The Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) study Underlying Cause of Death 1999-2013 on CDC WONDER Online Database released in 2015, 610,000 people die of heart disease every year in the United States, which is 1 in every 4 deaths. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services report on The Health Consequences of Smoking – 50 Years of Progress, A Report of the Surgeon General in 2014 found out that 20% of the US populations were smokers and this is leading to 480,000 deaths a year. According to CDC the excessive use of alcohol led to “approximately 88,000 deaths and 2.5 million years of potential life lost (YPLL) each year in the United States from 2006 – 2010, shortening the lives of those who died by an average of 30 year.”
