It is always good to know the correct stuff.

• X means Om, a sacred sound and symbol. According to Hindu mythology, it is said
to be Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva all together. It is also one of the names of Lord

Kokura was the backup target for the "Little Boy" on August 6, 1945, so if
Hiroshima had been clouded over, the first atomic bomb would have been
dropped on Kokura.
Kokura was the primary target for the "Fat Man" on August 9, 1945, but on
the morning of the raid, the city was obscured by clouds and smoke. Since
the mission commander Major Charles Sweeney had orders to drop the
bomb visually and not by radar, he diverted to the secondary target,
Nagasaki.

The name X originates from the late 17th century in London, when a literary
club met at a pie shop owned by pastry chef Christopher Catling. The group
was called X club and took its name from an abbreviated version of the
owner’s name.

X is an ancient form of torture practiced by the Chinese, in particular the courts of the Han
dynasty. Chinese X was a punishment for nobility since it left no marks and a victim could
recover relatively easily and quickly.

most popular brand ever in India.

mean either "rags, ragged clothing" or "a quarrel, a row“.
• Bob Marley is said to have claimed that the word X came from a Spanish term for
"the king's music“.

X is a volunteer effort to digitize and archive cultural works, to "encourage the
creation and distribution of eBooks“. It was founded in 1971 by Michael S. Hart and
is the oldest digital library. Most of the items in its collection are the full texts
of public domain books. The project tries to make these as free as possible, in long-
lasting, open formats that can be used on almost any computer. As of March 2014,
X claimed over 45,000 items in its collection.
The name of this undertaking might be as a tribute to an individual who did
something in the 1400s which helped immensely in spreading of knowledge. Which
these people hoped their undertaking would do in today's world.
