Why is the rush of 3D printing important for my work field? What if everyone can be a designer? With these questions students of the minor Smart Things and first-year students of Communication & Multimedia Design were confronted. The workshop contained a theory part (no more than 20%) and a practical part in which the groups divide on their skillset with 3D design and printing. This presentation also demonstrates a short tutorial of creating a 3D design in Tinkercad. Used as group challenge without any instruction. This group of 40 students created a 3D design (without any instruction) in less than 15 minutes!
