measure each we used a ruler and measured the diameters in millimeters. After recording each zone of
inhibition we copied our results onto the board and compared out answers to other classmates. After
comparing the results we then copied all the data onto a table and calculated the mean for each
substance plus the control. When we completed the table we then calculated the percent of difference
and placed the results into a table by using the means. After doing so, we created a graph that
illustrated the mean zone of inhibition for each one of the substances.
Results
In order to compare the difference of each substance we had to calculate the percent of difference for
each substance. The control vs the P 10 was calculated to be 65% which was the lowest percent. The
next substance which was not as high was the TE 30, when compared to the control it was 123%. One
substance that was higher was S 10, when it was compared to the control it was calculated to be 145%.
The biggest difference was C 30, when this substance was compared to the control it was 239%.

Clearly heavily influenced by Douglas Gordon s 24 Hour Psycho, Don DeLillo decidedly creates a
somewhat parallel universe in which Jim Finley, the protagonist of Point Omega partakes in
voyeuristic acts and shares many odd similarities with 24 Hour Psycho s Norman Bates that illustrate
Finley as a clone of Bates, allowing the reader (and watcher) to understand both personas from a more
understanding perspective. The novella Point Omega immediately alludes to 24 Hour Psycho as the
epilogue presents a scene in which an anonymous voice we later confirm as Finley, explains his
ongoing thoughts and experience with the film playing in the background. We are able to observe
DeLillo s interest in 24 Hour Psycho which translates then into his character Finley, who displays his
captivation with the film through his own film. Finley is an aspiring filmmaker who seeks out Richard
Elster, a retired strategist during the Iraq War to star in his upcoming film project. During his time
spent learning about Elster s past, he stays with Elster in an under furnished house in the middle of the

Objective
The aim of this experiment is to build and understand the basics of the operation of a hot water tank
sequence.
This experiment actually introduces the basic functions and the use of a hot water tank.
Procedure:
From the beginning of the sequence the tank is empty and all the valves will be closed (not active),
once the start button which is (I07) on the diagram is pressed inlet valve fast which is (Q01) will open
and will then start filling the tank with the water. The level of water in the tank will start rising and
once the water reaches the min level which is (I01), (I01) will sense the water and will turn on, once
the water has rose and reached the max level (I04), I04 will turn on and will cause the inlet valve to
close and outlet valve (Q03) to open and the tank will then start to drain the water. Now to stop the
sequence, the outlet valve will close as soon as the water goes below the min level (I01).
