Ash  Lou   Sam They all went to the same school. They are all around 30 years old. You are going to solve the burning question: Who has the happiest life?

Who has the happiest life? You will be working in small groups to see if you can answer this question. You will be given lots of information about each character. You will have to present your findings to the whole group.  Discuss and decide now how you think you will deliver your presentation. All the group must be involved.
What makes us happy? Revisit your mind – maps in your groups Make list of points which lead to happiness What makes people happy?

You can choose from: CV – Account summary – Diary – horoscope – Year 9 interim report – shopping list – profile – health report  –  sound clip of their aspirations in Y9  –  sound clip of their lifestyle at 30 yrs old PICK 2 ITEMS TO LOOK AT FIRST

  • #2: Starter – Students have to match up the pictures to the names.
  • #3: Discuss why these people are famous, whether they are successful and whether they are happy. What do students think their life was like as a teenager? Did they know they would become famous? What decisions did they make when they were younger that helped them to reach their goal?
  • #4: All three first names could be either male or female. Students discuss what they think these three teenagers look like.
  • #7: Is it possible to plan your life to make it happy? What decisions do we make?
  • #8: Students have to say which set of images that represent different lifestyles belongs to who and why.
