RETAIL PROJECT: BARNEYS Korea Town Galleria, Olympic Blvd, Los Angeles, CA Before Photos: Internship with Interior Designer, Ammie Kim: Barneys is stocked with high-end designer brands for women. The small boutique has two sections for both casual and former wear for women in their 20’s and 30’s. The client desired a modern and sleek design. The design concept drew by AutoCAD creating from simple modernist shapes and featured open views, white lacquer furniture, indirect lighting and hardwood flooring.
- 4. HOSPITALITY PROJECT: TOKYO BAR AND GRILL Seattle, Washington Tokyo Bar and Grill is a 4 star restaurant that serves fine Japanese and Chinese cuisines . The clients desired a high end modern style with Asian oriental accents. The design concept was to portray Japanese and Chinese culture by modern Asian luxury with earthy elements
- 5. RESIDENTAIL PROJECT: ROMAN’S RESIDENCE Pasadena, California In Roman’s Residence , the client desired to renovate into a modern and contemporary setting. The new Peruvian theme kitchen was created in Revit to expand an open view of dining and bar areas with additional storage units.
- 6. FURNITURE DESIGN PROJECT: SAKURA LOVESEAT Beverly Hills, California The Sakura Loveseat is a comfortable furniture inspired by the Japanese’s very own Cherry Blossom; with its black water resistant fabric and its red floral cushion creates a bold and stylish statement for the outdoors.
- 7. EDUCATIONAL PROJECT: NATIONAL LIBRARY Dallas, Texas The National Library is inspired by Dubai’s beautiful architectures . This ultra modernism design contains nine floors with a bookstore, a tutoring area, a media room, a observation room and storage for historical documents. The use of Revit brings out the Triquetra concept and transforms this organic shape to a place of knowledge, wisdom, and diversity.
