- 1. A3! Act! Addict! Actors! Stage (Called a stage but it is a musical) My best Sankaku boy *This will not tell you where to watch the musicals online I recommend buying the DVDs and supporting the hard work of the actors
- 2. Warning: I never learnt graphic design so this is gonna look like Matsukawa made it Yes I am going to include a triangle on each slide I have said when I don’t like specific characters so you know I could be slightly biased and they could be a lot better through someone else’s eyes

I will be ranking each song out of 10 This is a personal score and I know others will give it a different score (I will also rank the songs in each show from best to least best) I also wanted to shout out that all the songs in all the 5 shows (up until April 2020) have been written by the same person and he is amazing Yu (vague) on twitter if you want to follow him for instrumentals of the stage music

Songs Act 1 ∆Play song: Romeo and Julius (Includes Bokura no Kizuna at the end) ∆Honestly this song is just meh for me ∆Everyone sings well but I think this play is kinda boring and 85% of the song is just the play happening so ∆And yes all the plays are actually performed on stage ∆(I will say I think the play is much more interesting on stage than in the game)

Songs ∆Misumi solo: Sankaku wa Sekai wo Sukuu (Triangles will save the world) ∆This song is flawless ∆Intro to who I believe to be the most talented actor in the show, acrobatics, fun vocals, comedy, a rap section ∆If you couldn’t tell from all the triangles I love Misumi ∆And I think this is the perfect into to his character

Songs ∆Tenma solo with Summer back up vocals: Kizuna (Bonds) ∆I love this song ∆I think it really shows Tenma trying his best to change before he finally accepted help and shows Summer growing closer ∆Also Yuki dramatic gasp when Tenma is nice to him which I love Photo isn’t from this song but it’s the only one I can find from Act 2 of Summer all together
- 16. Songs ∆Play song: Water Me! (Includes Rakuen no Oasis at the end) ∆I really like this play ∆It’s my least favourite Summer play but is still one of my favourites as I love Summer a lot ∆I think the play is again a lot better on stage and is much funnier

Songs ∆Ending song: The Show Must Go On! ∆I think if there wasn’t another ending song apart from this song it would be higher (they changed it in the 3rd show) because I love this song but the one after is just a bit better ∆It is really theatrical and fits the vibe of A3 really well ∆I think it also works really well with this show as it has the vibe of actors getting started whereas the next ending song has more of a team vibe ∆Includes formal outfits (ready to bloom)

- 27. Songs Act 1 ∆Banri and Juza duet: Tejou (Handcuffs) ∆This song is, again, hilarious ∆Banri and Juza shouting at each other and being angry ∆Taichi being scared for his life ∆Both voices compliment each other well

Songs Act 1 ∆Sakyo solo: Hikari (Light) ∆I’m really sorry Sakyo! ∆Everyone disagrees with my but I don’t like Sakyo’s voice for slow songs like this one ∆I was going to put it at 4 but then I remembered that I have instantly changed song every time it has come on so I didn’t think I could put it above 3
- 29. Songs Act 1 ∆Play song: Nante Suteki ni Picaresque (With Ichiya Kagiri no Aibou at the end) (How Wonderfully Picaresque) ∆Honestly this is my favourite play in A3! But unlike the previous song I actually think the song is great so I put it higher ∆I don’t want to say a lot as I don’t want to be negative. ∆I do wanna say if you like this play, you will most likely like this song

Songs Act 2 ∆Tasuku, Tsumugi and Misumi song: Mungen Ningyo (Timeless doll) ∆I am biased and this is a Misumi song ∆I love it so much it’s really cool ∆The only complaint I kinda have is Misumi completely upstages the others ∆I love Misumi loads but this is meant to be part of winter and I literally can’t remember anything the others do in the song
- 31. Songs Act 2 ∆Homare solo: Magokoro Rupe (Magnifying glass that shows one’s true heart) ∆Very underrated song ∆Homare’s actor is a very good singer and slayed this performance ∆I really like the massive magnifying glasses they had in the song ∆I want him to have another solo
- 32. Songs Act 2 ∆Hisoka solo: Mikage no Koe (Mikage’s voice) ∆I still don’t like slow songs but Hisoka’s voice is AMAZING ∆This song is really sad as he tries to remember his past ∆His whimpering and collapsing ∆I love this song

Songs Act 2 ∆God troupe play: Lucifer Eden wo Owareta Tenshi (Lucifer the angel chased by Eden) ∆This isn’t technically a song as there is no singing but it is on the soundtrack so I’m counting it ∆I was thinking I couldn’t put it at 7 since they don’t sing but it’s my scoring system and I can do what I like so it’s a 7 ∆Haruto’s actor is so amazing in this play ∆He is a phenomenal actor and has to carry a 4 minute short play full of highs and lows basically alone and I think he manages it amazingly well
- 34. Songs Act 2 ∆Play song: Tenshi wo Awaremu Uta (With Don’t cry… at the end) (Sympathy for the Angel) ∆I do not like tragedies or being sad ∆While God’s play is only 4 minutes so I don’t mind it this play is 10 minutes so the pain is a little drawn out for me ∆But I think the singing is good

I remember when I didn’t like this song because it was replacing the last opening ∆Yeah I’ve changed my mind ∆I love this opening so much ∆It hypes you up for the show so much ∆And I like how they’re using different compositions for each troupe to make it sound different but more on that in the next plays

Songs Act 1 ∆Masumi and Itaru duet: vs Otona (vs Adult) ∆The best two singers in Spring duet ∆And it’s about being an adult and playing an arcade game ∆And Tsumugi and Banri’s actors play arcade game characters ∆And they have a sword and gun fight ∆This song is also a complete banger ∆There is nothing I don’t love about this song ∆It’s amazing

Songs Act 1 ∆Play song: Fushigi na Kuni no Alice (Alice in Wonderland) (Also has Wonderland a go go at the end) ∆This isn’t my favourite Spring play (it’s my second fav Spring play) but it is my favourite Spring play song ∆This song is just so upbeat and fun and I think I love this play because it reminds me of Summer ∆It’s just a blast watching this play
- 48. Songs Act 2 ∆Citron and Sakuya duet: Wansakasa (I have no clue what this means) ∆Citron and Sakuya being their fun energetic selves and trying to help Tsuzuru come up with ideas ∆I like this song but just not as much as others
- 49. Songs Act 2 ∆Tsuzuru and Mizuno duet: Sekai ni Hitotsu dake no Monogatari (The only story in the world) ∆This song is really sad and I like that we finally get Tsuzuru’s backstory ∆I just don’t really enjoy the song that much

Songs Act 2 ∆Play song: Zenmai jikake no Kokoro (Clockwork Heartbeat) (Has Omoide no Nejimaki at the end) ∆Don’t mind me I’ll just be here IN TEARS ∆Ngl this is sadder to me than any of the winter plays ∆Both Tsuzuru and Citron give fantastic performances but Citron takes mvp ∆He played a robot (kinda thing) so convincingly and made the end so raw and beautiful ∆This made this play my favourite Spring play and although I prefer the songs from Alice this has the better plot and characters (at least the main two) in my opinion

Misumi smiles when he sees him, happy he’s grown so big then throws a paper airplane towards him ∆ Madoka smiles when he sees it and says Misumi doesn’t change ∆ Then Misumi goes to Summer and they have a fireworks party and sing the song Tension Attention ∆ After the song Yuzo comes on to tell everyone to do the calls for the last song ∆ Then the last song blooming smile ~Oresama☆Natsu Summer~ plays ∆ After the last song Summer come back on and try to do cheers but Tenma keeps messing up ∆ Then all the others leave but when Tenma is about to leave the stage Misumi and Kazu come back on and do another round of cheers with Tenma ∆ The other songs in Act 2 are: Jiichan (Grandpa) ∆ Sankaku Fantasy (Triangle fantasy) ∆ Kami Hikouki (Paper Airplane) ∆ Batsubyou Sky Kaizoku (Anchors Away! - 65. Songs ∆Play song: Niiboshi wo Meguru Bouken (Adventure for Sardines) (Has Nyanbare at the end) ∆This song is adorable and suites the play so well ∆It could get a bit repetitive if they repeated the start of the song again but they don’t and so I think it’s perfect for this play

Songs ∆Misumi solo: Jiichan (Grandpa) ∆Can I just *sobs* ∆It is still amazing to me how an actor can do all the excitable Misumi stuff but can also do quiet sad moments so well and have it not feel forced or out of place at all ∆First time I saw Summer 2019 I started crying near the beginning of this song and didn’t stop for a full hour, having to take a 10 minute break to calm down in the middle bc I had a headache from crying so much ∆The second act of this play is a theatrical masterpiece
- 68. Songs ∆Everyone bar God troupe song: Sankaku Fantasy (Triangle fantasy) ∆I’m so glad he got another happy song, even if it has some sad undertones ∆I love this song a lot and it’s super fun and I think it shows everything I love about Misumi

Songs ∆Misumi and Madoka duet: Kami Hikouki (Paper Airplane) ∆Return of the sobbing 2019 ∆So I love Misumi so much and thing song HURTS MY SOUL ∆MAY I KILL MISUMI’S FATHER PLEASE ∆What he says after the song about not being loved kills me so much ∆This song is like what ‘Do you wanna build a snowman’ wanted to be ∆It actually shows the loneliness of Misumi and has so much emotional resonance

- 72. Songs ∆Summer troupe song: Tension Attention ∆This song is just so summery and it reminds me of the summer ∆It’s such a lovely beautiful song that mentions the pain the Summer members have gone through and why they came to be at Mankai ∆Their voices sound so good together and I love this song

Songs ∆Ending song: blooming smile ~Oresama☆Natsu Summer~ ∆I just love this version so much and it makes me cry for some reason ∆Just the way Summer says the lyrics ‘If on your way home, You become lonely…Because you’re not alone, You can always come here’ ∆When I go to musicals I always feel super lonely when going home and so this line resonates with me a lot ∆Also Sakuya playing a pirate in a short bit in the middle of the song is precious

- 80. Songs Act 1 ∆Opening song: Brand new world ~Autumn 2020~ ∆I really like all the changes they made to this song to make it sound very distinct ∆Autumn’s definitely sounds the most different and despite not being the biggest fan of Autumn I really like it
- 81. Songs Act 1 ∆Taichi solo: Jyoshi tte Ittai Nan Nano sa? (What on earth is a girl?) ∆Omg I love this song ∆So much ∆I love it ∆Song about Taichi trying to act more like a girl and the others correcting him.
- 82. Songs Act 1 ∆Juza and Banri duet: Tsunagari (Connection) ∆I do like this song, I really do ∆But the music is so weirdly American country and I can’t stop thinking about that ∆Juza and Banri do sound very good together
- 83. Songs Act 1 ∆Taichi and Omi duet: my picture ∆While I don’t tend to like slow songs ∆Taichi’s voice is so lovely in this song and even on CD I can really feel their feelings and I just think this is a really beautiful song

I would say more but I start crying if I think about him as Yuzo. I managed to see him live in his last ever show before he past and I count myself so lucky that I could. He was an amazing person who drew others towards him and the world and the 2.5d industry is not the same without him. Pt.3
