- 2. Aperture Aperture is the unit of measurement that defines the size of the opening in the lens. It can be adjusted to change the amount of light that reaches the film or digital sensor. F-stop is the size the aperture is measured in.
- 3. Shutter Speed Shutter speed is the controlling of the cameras shutter, the different setting determine how long the cameras shutter stays open whilst the image is being taken. The slower the shutter speed, the longer the exposure time will be.
- 4. ISO ISO is the control of the available light in the location the photo is being taken. The higher the ISO, the more sensitive the camera is to light. The lower the ISO, the less sensitive the camera is to light.
- 5. F/5 F/8 F/29 In this image, the F-stop was f/5. The depth of field was the bottom of he image. This is slightly over exposed. The lighting in the image is brighter than it should be. This image was the clearest. This is because the f-stop was higher than the others.
