This document summarizes a model of Positive Organizational Scholarship (POS) based on an ecosystem model of community action and social change. The model describes how positive emotions in an organization's culture (the soil) provide nutrients that support positive meaning (the roots), which then enable positive connections and practices (the trunk) that lead to transformations and artifacts (the leaves and branches). The cycle shows how positive practices are necessary and generative, creating an upward spiral. The document explains each part of the ecosystem in detail and how it relates to POS.
