the rodeo and falls for local girl Marjorie Cater (Polly Ann Young). Weston must stop Spike
Barton (Ed Peil), the show’s promoter, when he discovers the rodeo organizer is planning

When miners Mason and Benson turn in their gold at the assay office, the assay officials
trail Benson back to the mine and shoot him. Mason is then arrested for the murder. But
the supposedly dead Benson survived and now plans a surprise for the culprits at
Mason's trial.
Neath Arizona Skies – (52mins)
John Wayne attempts to locate Shirley Jean Rickert's wayward father. The little girl, a
"half-breed," is the heir to a 50,000-dollar Indian oil claim, but she needs the
signature of her long-lost father in order to collect. Nina's foster father, manages to
get the tyke out of town before Sam Black and his gang can get their hands on her
and her inheritance, but other villains learn of the girl's potential windfall, including
express office robbers Vic Byrd When Vic finally gets hold of the child, he is shot and
killed by one of his own hands, Tom, who is revealed to be Nina's real father. With
Tom's help, Chris manages to trick the Black gang and is able to storm their hideout.
In the ensuing melee, Tom is fatally shot but Byrd manages to escape with Nina. Chris
goes after them and there is a final confrontation in a raging river.

Angel and The Bad man – (100mins)
Angel and the Bad man is the first production that Wayne personally produced. The star
plays a wounded outlaw who is sheltered by a Quaker family. Attracted to the family's
angelic daughter Gail Russell, the hard-bitten Wayne undergoes a slow and subtle
character transformation; still, he is obsessed with killing the man (Bruce Cabot) who
murdered his foster father. The storyline traces not only the regeneration of Wayne, but
of the single-minded sheriff (Harry Carey) who'd previously been determined to bring
Wayne to justice.
Blue Steel – (55mins)
When a man appears to rob the payroll from a safe, Sheriff Jake (John Wayne) is hot on
his trail. However, just when he is about to take him into custody, the man saves his life.
The two join forces, and discover the Malgrove, a leading town elder, is attempting to
confiscate the local ranchers by having his gang blockade the supply wagons. The rangers
are ready to cave in, but Sheriff Jake and his partner intervene to save the day.

An undercover government agent comes to town to investigate a water supply problem
with the local farmers. It turns out that an unscrupulous local businessman has a monopoly
on the water and is forcing the farmers to pay high prices for it or forfeit their land. The
agent comes up with a plan to get water for the farmers and bring the water baron to
justice.
The Trail Beyond - (55mins)
Rod Drew (John Wayne) agrees to help locate a friend’s missing brother and his niece so he
sets off to the Canadian Northwest, the last known location of the two. Along the
way, Drew must rescue his friend from a false accusation of shooting a card shark, by
jumping off a train and end up finding a skeleton with a map to a mine. Taking the map, the
two men make it to the local general store and ask the owner to lock up the map for safe
keeping, not knowing that others have plans for stealing the map and taking the mine.
