 Jill wants to build a wall 4 meters high. When
she arrives at the shop, the shop manager said
that there were only bricks 1 cm high. How
many bricks would she need to build up to 4
     meters high?

 Sam has a bag of flour 53 kg. Jenny has another
bag of flour 8490 cg, while Ben has a big bag of
flour weighing 1.97 t. How many grams of
    flour they have altogether?
 This is a more complicated question and will
require at least 4 slides to answer.
 First, let’s take a look at the chart. Sam had
53kg so let’s convert it. When you want to
convert a Big unit to a Little unit, the number
has to go Up. (BLU) But when you want to
convert a Little unit to a Big unit, the number
has to go Down (LBD) In this case, we have to
convert a small unit to a bigger unit so the
number has to go up (BLU)
                                                  That means Sam has
G 5300 (10 G in a Dag & 100 G in a KG) 5300 grams of flour 
Dag 530 (10 Dag in a Kg)
Kg 53
t
 Now, take a look at Jenny’s bag of flour (8490
cg) and this time, we will use LBD (converting
a Little unit to a Big unit means the number has
to go Down) That means Jenny
                                     has 84.9 grams of
                                    flour.
Cg 8490 cg
Dg 849 dg
G 84.9 g
 Now let’s take a look at Ben’s big bag of flour
but remember, 1 tonne = 1000 kg. Also, we are
going to make a Big unit to a Little unit so the
number has to go Up (BLU)

     Dag 19700
     Kg 1970

 Now that we have got all the answers, we just
have to add them up because in the question, it
says: “How many grams of flour they have
    altogether?”
