Miami Dade College is replacing its aging student information system, Odyssey, with Oracle PeopleSoft. The new system is called MDConnect and will support human resources, payroll, financial, and student administration functions across the college's campuses. MDConnect aims for improved security, decision support, service, innovation, and growth. It will be rolled out in phases between January 2016 and June 2016, starting with the financial and human capital management modules, followed by the campus solutions module. Training on the new system will take place throughout late 2015 and 2016. Each campus has assigned change ambassadors to help prepare for the transition to MDConnect.
