RAT TRAILER SCRIPT
BAAM PRODUCTIONS

SECTION 1
FADE IN EXT. Diner off of the highway in Little Italy – NIGHT TIME.
Three men are discussing Business whilst seated around a cornered
lounge area.
ANTONIO
You know... we’ve always treated you like one of us. We’ve always
been there for you and helped you out just like a brother.
SALVATORE
I know Antonio, and I really am truly grateful.
CARLO
You’d better be. We’ve busted our asses... both of us to save your
skin.
EXT. To Park.
BULLY approaches Young Salvatore.
SALVATORE
Please, I don’t want any trouble...
CARLO
Hey, get off of him
Punches Bully in the jaw
FADE TO Diner
ANTONIO
We got a little too much heat right now
SALVATORE
What do you mean?
CARLO
Well there is something we need you to sort out for us.
Hands over an envelope to Salvatore
SALVATORE
I don’t want to be getting my hands dirty
ANTONIO
It’s about time you paid us back.
CARLO
When you’re alone, open up the envelope. Everything you need is
inside.
ANTONIO
And hey--toughen up a bit, huh?
Slaps Salvatore
Fade to INT. of CAR
SALVATORE
Alone in his car, he opens up the envelope. A Gun and photograph of
a target with a post-it note reading his address and instructions
stating “When it is done, drop the gun. We will take care of the
body”.
SECTION 2
EXT. Antonio and Carlo are waiting in their Car whilst holding
binoculars staring at a white House.
ANTONIO
What the hell is taking him so long?
Checking his watch.
SALVATORE
He runs and quickly enters his Car and slams the door. He throws the
gun and photograph into the backseat
DISSOLVE to outside of EXT. White house
ANTONIO
Aggressively punching the door
DEBTOR
Opens door
CARLO
Turns his head in shock and looks inside the house.
What the hell?
ANTIONIO
Pulls out his gun from his belt fast and shoots the debtor twice;
once in the chest and again in the head.
CUT TO BLACK
FADE TO EXT. Antonio and Carlo are smashing their fists against a
plain black door
CARLO
Open up Sal, we know you’re in there
Shouting against a black house door
INT. CUT to door being kicked down
HAZEL
Get the hell out of my house. Sal’s not here.
ANTONIO
Quit lying to us or you’ll be lying flat on your stomach.
Raising his voice whilst aiming a gun at Hazel
HAZEL
I’m not telling you anything
Clutching a blunt object and swinging at the twins
CARLO
Lunging and grabbing Hazel’s hair
HAZEL (Continued):
I know who you really are. Do you really think I haven’t seen your
files? I know everything.
ANTONIO
Pushes her backwards with great force and shoots her twice, killing
her instantly
DISSOLVE to phone ringing
CARLO
Reaches into Hazel’s pocket and pulls out her phone
SALVATORE (over the phone)
Hazel, Hazel. You gotta get outta there now. Those pricks are coming
after me.
CARLO
Hangs up the phone
Section 3
Dissolve to EXT. SUBURBAN STREET – LATE AFTERNOON
The Streets are close to dimmed as there are few working street
lights.
SALVATORE is walking down the street whilst holding a Mobile Phone
pressed against his right ear. As he is speaking, he is looking
behind him and being very conscious of his surroundings through fast
movements.
FADE TO:
INT. Detective Dwayne’s Home Office where there is a very organised
and neat desk, covered with files, a Pistol and a photo of the two
Fibonacci brothers.
DWAYNE
So why the hell should I trust you Sal?
CUT TO:
EXT. SUBURBAN STREET – EVENING
Two Hitmen- One wearing a black leather jacket with a Gun rack
underneath. The other is wearing a long, black jacket and a Fedora
hat with a Gun rack underneath his jacket.
SALVATORE is walking down the street until he is stopped by a Black
Car which pulls up close to the curb. The two Hitmen jump out, hit
Salvatore in the chest and grab him into the Car. SALVATORE drops
his phone onto the Car floor underneath the driver’s seat whilst the
call remains active.
CUT TO:
EXT. DARK FOREST – NIGHT
The Car pulls over to a pre-dug ditch where there are two shovels
stuck into the ground beside it. The Ditch is roughly 2 Meters Deep.
SALVATORE is thrown into the ditch by the two Hitmen with great
force. After Landing, one HITMAN picks up the shovel to begin
covering SALVATORE with soil, along with the other who reaches for
his Pistol and aims at SALVATORE.
DETECTIVE DWAYNE PALMER shoots the two HITMEN in the back before
SALVATORE is killed and buried. DWAYNE looks at SALVATORE.
DWAYNE:
So you were saying.
DWAYNE loosens SALVATORE’s restraints and cuts him loose.
SALVATORE (V.O)
They are hunting for me. Just like I’m a Rat.
CUT TO INT. DWAYNE’S Office Desk
DWAYNE pours himself and SALVATORE a mug of black Coffee each and
then unfolds a map of the New York City and places it gently onto
his desk. He then reaches for a marker pen and circles a point.
DWAYNE:
If you want to put these guys away for good, this is where we gotta
go. New York City
DWAYNE points to the circled location on the map.
EXT. A Skyline view of the circled area of New
York from the Map – DAY
Section 4
EXT: A CAR PARK
DWAYNE whilst standing in a Phone-booth, speaking to SAL.
DWAYNE:
(Screaming)
Just shut up and listen, okay? You are getting way too paranoid
about this.
INT: Salvatore is sitting inside a Motel room inside a dirty and
slightly greasy Bathtub, on his PHONE, lying in the tub after
locking the Bathroom door. The curtains are drawn.
SALVARORE:
Angry facial expressions whilst slamming his hand against the
Bathtub and shaking his body very hesitantly
Do you know what it’s like constantly being afraid?
EXT: OUTSIDE A TALL BUILDING, THE CITY
CARLO and ANTONIO are inside their Car waiting outside of a
Building. They are holding their Pistols attached to their Gun
belts.
INT: THE FIBONACCI HOUSEHOLD
CARLO and ANTONIO are looking at a torn piece of paper, with the
ADDRESS: 588 Lincoln Ave, New York
ANTONIO picks up the piece of paper containing the address
CARLO:
INT: INSIDE A MOTEL ROOM- NIGHT
SAL begins to cry whilst his head is tucked in between his knees. He
is still inside the Bathtub with the curtains closed.
INT: IN AN ABANDONED LOCATION- DAY
DWAYNE is interrogating a MAN, mid-forties, White, BLEEDING, whilst
he is hanging from his arms around a horizontal pipeline with a Gun
pointed at his head.
DWAYNE:
Where the hell are they hiding?
INT: SALVATORE’s OFFICE ROOM - DAYTIME
ANTONIO and CARLO plant explosives and light the fuse whilst slowly
walking out of the house. There is a huge explosion which completely
destroys the house.
CARLO (V.O):
Who is his partner? Just some cheap, low-life cop.
INT: SALVATORE SEEN RUNNING DOWN A STREET- NOON
MAIN CREDITS: CAST’S NAMES
‘AGATINO D’AGATE- AS SALVATORE VITTI’
EXT: SOLITARY BUILDING (CONSTRUCTION SITE)- NIGHT
SAL is sprinting whilst holding his PISTOL. He hides behind a tree
and raises his Pistol whilst aiming at an assumed threat.
INT: Inside Dwayne’s Car
SAL is sitting in the passenger seat with his GUN on the dashboard
with BULLET SHELLS laying around it, accompanied with a large zipped
bag containing half a dozen weapons.
CAPTION-‘BEN OGLIBO- AS DETECTIVE DWAYNE PALMER
EXT: CAR PAR- EVENING
DWAYNE is lying against the door of his bullet hit Car, on the
ground, and seen clutching his wounded arm whilst blood is dripping
from his left cheek (with a Gun lying next to his legs)
INT: Antonio and Carlo’s office
ANTONIO is at a PHOTO of himself, CARLO and SAlVATORE as Young
adults looking very comfortable and happy together. ANTONIO tearsthe
photo fiercely and slams it onto the floor whilst bearing an
aggressive facial expression.
CAPTION-‘ALESSIO PETULLA’- AS ANTONIO FIBONACCI’
EXT: THE FORREST- NIGHT
ANTONIO uses a plastic bag to suffocate a victim and shoots him
CAPTION- ‘MARCO PETULLA’- AS CARLO FIBONACCI’
INT: MOTEL ROOM- EVENING
CARLO stands in the ROOM with a GUN, whilst wearing DISPOSABLE
PLASTIC GLOVES, and a BODY is on the DIRTY FLOOR, soaked in BLOOD
EXT: GREENLAND SPACE-EVENING
CARLO and ANTONIO are both holding SHOVELS.
EXT. In an alleyway
ANTONIO
In slow motion, Antonio pulls out his Gun from his Gun-rack and
shoots straight forward.
CUT TO BLACK
