What is Continuum: the ability to turn a smartphone running Windows 10 into a PC. it’s designed to take advantage of new universal apps that run across Windows 10 on phones, PCs, tablets, and the Xbox One. Example: If you’re running a mobile version of Excel on your phone it will magically resize and transform into a keyboard- and mouse-friendly version for use on a bigger screen.
- 5. Evolving this feature to smartphones based on webOS such as (Firefox OS & Chrome OS,.) where even smartphones become the screen and all the work is processed on Cloud Servers.
- 6. Continuum expected Benefits: 1. Educational Institutions: Teachers won't have to worry about holding tons of papers and a huge bag, everything will be on the phone. 2. Business Offices: Meetings won't require an expensive projectors.
- 7. Advantages of Continuum Less hardware needed which leads to a Much less cost. More Mobility and Portability. On the webOS evolved feature, Performance is not an issue, since everything is done on a cloud server. Hardware maintenance are done by the host.
- 8. Disadvantages of Continuum Less software performance in extensive processing needs. WebOS is server based, any issues in internet threatens all the work. All of your data are on the hands of the server host, if they want to separate you from your data they have the right to do so.

Laptops that have a keyboard and screen, but no storage or processors inside as an external phone will do all the work. Tablets, where you have a super-thin device with just a display and battery all powered by a phone.
