Monster Madness

Introduction
• The ancient Greeks used monsters and
  mythical creatures in their stories and one
  of those creature is the Minotaur. They
  used creatures to scare their people.
Minotaur
    • Minotaur a creature in a
      maze.
    • The Minotaur is a flesh
      eating monster.
    • The Minotaur is half
      human and half bull.
    • Every nine years fourteen
      humans are sent into the
      maze as a human
      sacerfice.
    • The Minotaur was killed
      by the prince of athens
      his name was Theseus.
Medusa
   •   Medusa is a mortal gorgon.
   •   Medusa had beautiful hair.
   •   Medusa was told many things
       about her hair.
   •   Then the goddess Athena and
       Medusa had a contest to see
       who had the most beautiful
       hair.
   •   But the people picked Medusa
       and Athena didn’t like that so
       she turned Medusas hair into
       snakes.
   •   Althoght Medusas had snakes
       as hair if see looked at anyone
       in the eye they would turn to
       stone.
Sphinx
   • The Sphinx was a
     creature that had a
     head shoulders and
     cheast of a woman.
   • The Sphinx also had
     body and claws of a
     lion.
Hydra
   • The hydra is a
     drangon that can live
     under water.
   • The hydra has nine
     head and if you cut
     one off its head it
     grows 2 more heads.
   • The hydra had
     poisonous claws.
Chimaera
     • Chimaera is a
       terrifying half lion
     • Half mountian goat
       with snakes on his tail
     • He can breathing fire.
     • Hercules was the
       person who killer
       Chimaera.
Scylla
   •   Scylla lurked in the strait of
       Messina.
   •   Scylla had a human head and
       torso.
   •   Scylla had a tail and fins like a
       fish.
   •   And a six pack of wolfs around
       her waist.
   •   Every sailor new of Scylla.
Phoenix

    • The Phoenix is a bird
    • The Phoenix has a
      fire spirit.
    • The Phoenix is a firey
      bird.
    • The Phoenix when it
      dies the Phoenixs
      ashes ture into
      another Phoenix.
Triton
   • Triton is a god of
     the sea
   • Triton is also the
     king of all
     mermiads.

  • 2. Introduction • The ancient Greeks used monsters and mythical creatures in their stories and one of those creature is the Minotaur. They used creatures to scare their people.
