Midterm Reflection

During this quarter in Spanish three, I have learned many things. I have learned

to say many activities, things that are related to the arts, talking about the news, and

many verbs. We have been taught on different forms of common verbs that we use

everyday. The different forms we learned were the present, present progressive,

preterite, imperfect, imperfect progressive, present perfect, and the pluperfect tenses.

I have enjoyed creating the weekly news projects in Spanish. I am able to keep

updated with events of a foreign country that I do not know much about. I was able to

use my skills in writing with my newly acquired Spanish vocabulary to expand on stories

I have found informative and interesting. I have also enjoyed making podcasts of

specific subjects. I use the Spanish language to speak about different themes and

vocabulary to enable myself to pronounce words correctly and help me keep a

conversation in the future.

As much fun as I have had this quarter, there are numerous things I can improve

on. I have had a lot of trouble with the speaking tests because I can get distracted by all

of the people around me. I need to focus on the task at hand and be able to speak

about whatever I need to. I have also struggled with having conversations in Spanish. It

has been a difficult transition to speak in a language that is virtually new to me. I must

keep paying attention to the lessons that Mrs. Carter has for us everyday and ask
There is one more quarter left for me to obtain an A in this class. I have to work

real hard and do my best on everything. I have to pronounce my words better and focus

on all of the assignments. I will do my best for the last quarter in Spanish three.
