- 3. Introduction The different modes of transport are air, water, and land transport, which includes Rail, road and off – road transport. Other modes also exist, including pipelines, cable Transport, and space transport. Human – powered transport and animal – powered transport are sometimes regarded as their own mode, but these normally also fall Into the other categories.
- 4. Animal - Powered Animal – powered transport is the use of working animals for the movement of people and Goods. Humans may ride some of the animals directly, use them as pack animals for carrying goods, or harness them, alone or in teams, to pull sleds or wheeled vehicles.
- 5. AIR A fixed wing aircraft, typically airplane , is a heavier than air flight vehicle, in which the special geometry of the wing generates lifts . Air transport is the fastest method of transport, commercial jets reach speeds of up to 995 kilometers per hours.
