It can be found easily on the University libraries web page.
- 3. Search Tools To search for sources I simply typed in “STEM Education” and used the limiter “full text”.
- 4. Usefulness Overall I found Academic Search Premier very easy to use and it gave me many useful sources. All of the sources that I found using Academic Search Premier were reliable and peer reviewed. In the future, I will most likely use this database for any research I must conduct
- 5. ERIC http://eric.ed.gov/ Eric was the second database I used in order to find more about my topic. Eric is a government site and can easily be found by entering in its .GOV site name.
- 6. Search Tools To search on Eric I simply typed in “STEM Education” in the search engine and looked at articles that were recommended. I didn’t use any limiters for this site because, I thought that I would just go through them by hand.
- 7. Usefulness Overall, I found Eric very useful and offered great information on my topic. I really liked Eric because it only has information that pertains to Education and they had a lot of really good information on my topic In the future I will definitely consider using Eric for educational research
