- 1. MASTERING THIS CLASS Social Psychology
- 2. LEARNING MODULES • Students should take time to review all of the sections of each learning module. • Learning module sections are meant to take 10 – 25 minutes to complete. • Learning modules may include readings, lectures with audio, lectures with notes, videos, and activities. • Please be sure to complete all sections of the learning modules.
- 3. GETTING ADDITIONAL HELP • Please use the ”Help” forum in the discussion board for general questions about the course • Please email the instructor or set up an appointment during virtual office hours (Tuesday & Thursday from 2PM – 3PM)
- 4. DOING WELL IN THIS CLASS • Students will do well in this class as long as they consistently: • Check Blackboard every Wednesday at 9AM for the week’s tasks • Keep up with the pace of the class • Complete all activities weekly • Actively participate in discussion forums

EXPECTATIONS OF STUDENTS • keep up with the material covered every week • complete homework and quizzes on time every week • produce a final presentation (e.g. Powerpoint, Prezi) and paper on a topic of your choosing related to social psychology • participate actively and courteously in the forums • abide by the standards of academic honesty and student code of conduct • seek help (instructor, or homework forums) when you don’t understand a topic • aspire to enjoy learning about Social Psychology!

EXPECTATIONS FOR PROFESSOR • provide comprehensive learning material on time every week • provide scheduled live online office hours • provide an ongoing help forum, check it at least three times a week and respond to student postings • create quizzes and exams that reflect the stated learning expectations for the course • show you how important social psychology is by using real examples • do my best to get you to appreciate and enjoy Social Psychology!
