What have we done for “us”? MBL Member Directory Connected with national leaders Joined regional effort Secured funding Boosted social media efforts Presented MBL throughout region
Current Stats Members :  54 members Grant for Directory : $1,250  Directory:  2,500 copies
Member Feedback   Future marketing tools:  1. Newspaper Ads 2. Stickers 3. Radio Ads What are we doing well? - Using social media; directory - Professional launch of program Room for improvement? - Challenge businesses to buy from other members - More presentations and active volunteers - Collaboration networking
Community Feedback Awareness -  In one day,  89 people from our region filled out the survey! - 30%  -- look for the sticker when they shop - 59%  -- didn't know there was a directory Who’s missing from the Directory?   1) Local Restaurants    2) Producers—local butcher shop    3) Artists Support mission of MBL? Use the MBL Directory (94%!)  14%: Want to become a supporter ( $25/year) Suggestion: List Community Supporters in MBL Directory

Send your press releases/newsletters to MBL Share your specials/sales/events with us  Hand out directories  Make sure directories are well displayed Ask us about hosting a Shift Mob Put MBL logos into your advertisements Mention MBL in radio ads Share your gifts! How would you like to help?
Moving Forward Together 1.  Vision of our Local Economy in 5 years 2.  How do we make this regional?  Who should be part of our  2011 MBL Steering Committee?
