Cloud Models Private Hybrid Public • Private: where service access is limited or the customer has some control/ ownership of the service implementation, e.g., built by enterprise IT • Virtual private: same as “private” but replace “enterprise IT” with “third-party provider” • Policy-based and coordinated service provisioning, use and management across a mixture of internal and external cloud services. • When the customer does not see the implementation behind the boundary, and the provider doesn’t care who the customer is, you have a public cloud.
