This document provides an overview of how materials are organized and shelved in the AIS Library. It explains that colored dots and call letters indicate a material's language. Call letters include the Dewey Decimal number and first three letters of the author's last name to show where an item belongs on the shelf. Examples are given of correctly shelved materials from different sections like fiction, reference, videos, and audiobooks. Materials with the same call number are shelved alphabetically by author last name.
