Thesis:
Overall Native Americans experienced a lot of pain, but were
able to overcome all of the life obstacles. They were seen as
fighters who fought or demand the freedom they deserve.
For example this reflects back on the event of the fight at Little
Big Horn. On June 1875 the Natives defeated the Seventh
Calvary regiment and killed Lt. Col. George Armstrong George.

surrounded.
In
less
than
an
hour,
Native
American
warriors
surrounded
Custer
and
his
men
and
killed
more
than
200
of
them,
including
Custer.

accustomed to whom and what they believed in. The

of
Sitting
Bull
and
the
end
of
the
Ghost
Dance
marked
the
cessation
of
Native
American
conflict
and
initiated
a
new
chapter
in
the
relationship
between
White
Americans,
Native
Americans,
and
the
ideal
of
the
frontier

and
westward
expansion.
The
idea
of
an
exceptional
and
ever-expanding
western
frontier
has
long
permeated
American
culture
and
was
evident
from
the
earliest
European
explorations
of
North
America.
Native Americans were determined individuals who were
demanded freedom for their family and themselves.
